How We Use SMS Notifications

FieldFlash PRO sends transactional SMS messages to keep customers informed about their service appointments and account activity.

  • Technician En Route Alerts Letting customers know their technician is on the way with an estimated arrival time.

Our Opt-In Process

We collect explicit consent before sending any SMS messages. Customers opt in through the following methods:

  1. Customer Onboarding: When a new customer account is created in FieldFlash PRO, the service company collects the customer's phone number and verbal or written consent to receive service-related text messages.
  2. Service Agreement Signing: Our service agreements include an SMS notification consent clause. Customers acknowledge and agree to receive text messages related to their service appointments.
  3. Customer Portal: Customers can manage their notification preferences, including SMS opt-in/opt-out, through their online customer portal.

Opt-Out: Every SMS message includes "Reply STOP to opt out" instructions. Customers can also opt out by contacting us directly or updating their preferences in the customer portal. Opt-out requests are processed immediately.

Message Frequency: Customers typically receive 1–5 messages per month, depending on their service schedule. Messages are strictly transactional and related to active service appointments or account activity.

The platform is purpose-built for generator maintenance and installation companies, addressing the unique challenges of managing equipment service in the field — from tracking generator models and warranty information to coordinating multi-technician dispatch across service territories.
